Circle City Corvettes Covid-19 News

We will start having our regular monthly Club meeting at the Golden Corral on 5 January 2021 at 6pm to meet and the meeting itself will start at 7pm.

Everyone Please Stay Safe!!!

After a lot of thought about how we could protect our participants and still have a social Corvette event we did not feel we could forgive ourselves if someone contacted the virus or it was spread during the event. This would have been the 40th anniversary of the Beach Caravan. The beach caravan could not be the same without participants being allowed to socialize and mingle with our special guests. Edgewater was going out of their way to make the event as safe as possible, but I could not get past what we could not control. Getting on an elevator, a family coming to look at the Corvettes, there were just too many situations of contacting the virus to ignore and still too many unknowns about the virus. We appreciate those of you who have so generously supported this event over the past 39 years. I am not giving up on still having our auction to support the museum and possibly Kirk and Damian's seminars in a one day event later on. The caravan will be back in 2021.

CORVETTE

The name "Corvette" originates from the name of a small warship, light and fast, which appeared in France at the end of the 17th Century!

A corvette is a small warship. It is traditionally the smallest class of vessel considered to be a proper warship.
