It's Racing Season!
 Got
gear? The Corvette Store has all the great merchandise to help
you cheer on Johnny O'Connell and Jan Magnussen, like
this 100% pre-shrunk cotton tee which is screen printed with
the Johnny O'Connell #3 NCM design on the front. We also have
some new LED light key chains, including a "Jake" Corvette Racing
design, and the C6 design featured at right. |

Are Your Prized Rides Properly Insured?
 Did
you know you can purchase insurance for your automobile through
the National Corvette Museum? Did you know your collectible car
doesn't have to be a Corvette? Adam Boca would be happy to talk to
you about what we offer!
He will be at Corvettes at Carlisle next week in the insurance booth under the grandstands near the food court. This booth is separate from the Museum's booth. Log on to our Insurance website for a free quote, and bring it with you when you come! Adam will be giving away a GPS or an iPod Nano to those who stop by and enter! |

Another Raffle Winner Drawn!
 Barry
Shockley from Lebanon, OH was the winner of the 2010 Grand Sport
Convertible. He had ticket number 306. We sold 370 of the 500
tickets.
Barry has never owned a Corvette before but has always looked at them and thought about buying one. This will be his first Corvette and he is thrilled to be the winner. He said, "Finally! I have entered the Corvette raffles 6 or 7 times, and I finally won! This is great news! You have made my day!" Barry said he didn?t win the Powerball jackpot, but when he got the email that we still had not sold that many tickets, he decided to buy one. We have several chances coming up for you to win a Corvette!

Caravan / 15th Anniversary - Welcome Media!
 Last
minute details are being finalized and the NCM is just about ready
to welcome our National Corvette Caravan and 15th Anniversary
friends! Many of you will begin this exciting journey in a few
days. Help us get the word out about your Museum, through your
local media contacts! Invite your local TV stations and newspapers
to cover your unique adventure either before or after your trip.
The Caravan makes for a great story and helps spread the word and
promote the National Corvette Museum. And of course, shows your
friends that you are part of a very special group that likes to have
fun! |

 This
month's calendar wallpaper is our own, one-of-a-kind 15th
Anniversary Corvette designed by Kirk Bennion.You could be the proud
owner of this special car! Raffle tickets are only $150 each, and it
is limited to 2009 tickets. The drawing will be held on Sunday,
September 6 at 10:00 am.
This computer wallpaper is available in six screen resolutions and can be downloaded free. If you have an image of your Corvette in a unique setting, send it in for consideration to be used in a future NCM wallpaper design. Please email digital images in .jpg or .tif format, at least 2000 x 1333 pixels to webmaster@corvettemuseum.org. Images will be considered based on quality and style. Corvette images only... no individuals included in the photo please. |

Corvette Racing Scores Podium Finish
 Johnny
O'Connell and Jan Magnussen scored their second podium finish in
the second American Le Mans race for Corvette Racing's new GT2
cars. In this exciting battle against Ferrari, Porsche, Viper, and
Ford, the #3 Corvette came in just behind the BMWs to take 3rd
place at Road America on August 16th. The #4 Corvette came in 6th
after making an unscheduled pit stop to replace a door damaged by
