Bowling
Green is proud to welcome Bob Parcell as the new plant manager
of the General Motors Bowling Green Assembly Plant. Parcell
began work for GM in 1979 as a co-op student, and most
recently served at president of Cami Automotive, a joint
venture between GM and Suzuki in Canada.
"If you are in this business... the
business of building cars, this is a dream job. We've all
dreamt of one day running the Corvette plant," said Parcell.
Former manager, Paul Graham, has moved
to Arlington Assembly Plant in Texas to oversee the production
of conventional and hybrid versions of the Tahoe, GMC Yukon
and Cadillac Escalade.
