Dave Ressler, avid car collector and owner of Ressler Chevrolet in Mandan, North Dakota and Bozeman, Montana, along with family and friends, enjoyed a Corvette experience to remember at the Museum and Corvette Assembly Plant. Ressler was the high bidder on the first in production, one-of-a-kind VIN series 2009 ZR1 sporting the only LeMans Blue paint for the new model.

The profit from his $1,000,000 bid at Barrett Jackson was donated to the United Way of Southeast Michigan. The group’s visit to take home the new Corvette ZR1 offered Museum guests a chance to see the ZR1 and Dave’s VIN 003 1953 together on display and to meet and greet with Dave. “What a great experience enjoying the Plant and Museum,” Ressler shared with us. “And thanks to everyone in Bowling Green for being so gracious to us!”
