Moultrie, GA swap meet ... at an airport and is a huge automotive swap meet with also arts and craft items for sale. This has always been a good place to find parts for any make or model of car and even some Corvette items. Their is a for sale car corral, auction and car show. ... A lot of local Corvette Clubs attend the swap meet and enter the a car show on Saturday. ... it takes about 4 hours to walk through all the rows and buildings and it is usually cold. Their are plenty of restrooms and places to eat. ... 2 1/2 hours from Dothan. |

Valentine Party with the Cruisin' Corvette
club. This year's event will be at the Dorothy B. Oven park in downtown
Tallahassee from 1:00 to 3:00 (EDT). The Cruser's will provide lunch.

Tyndall AFB Air Show Corvette Display. Emerald Coast Coast Corvette Club invites us to meet them at 7:30 in the little park at the end of the Tyndall Parkway Bridge; rolling thru the gates at 8:00 like last year. |

Cave Tour and Burger Party at the Robertson's. We'll start off by meeting
at the Florida Caverns State Park which is just north of Marianna at 10:00
(CST). We have invited the Cruizin' Corvette club of Tallahassee to
attend, so they will be meeting us there. At the park, all are invited to
participate in a tour of the caves. We'll then caravan over to Jim and
Charley's place (a 15 minute drive) and settle down for some grilled
burgers and socializing. Convoy departs Houston County Farm Center at 0845. That's the corner of Ala Hwy 53 and Ross Clark Circle on the east side of Dothan. |

| August 25 | Chews, Cruise, and Booze - A cruise has been planned to the Chautauqua winery in Defuniak Springs FL. We'll be departing from the Chevron in Hartford on the corner of highways 52 and 167 at 10:00. We'll cruise along some nice country roads on our way to the winery and do some "taste testing" and possibly buy a couple of bottles. Then it's on to "Pig Daddy's" for lunch. This one should be fun so start planning now to attend. |

Panama City Toyota is having a Charity Show and Go event that sounds
very interesting. The event will be held at the Breakaway Dragway, which is
just north of PC in Fountain FL. It will consist of a car show, and drag
racing. You can do either or both!!! This show is open to all cars, not
just Vettes. The enterance fee is only $10 and it starts at 3:00.

| Sept 22 | 3rd annual Auto Investors Cruise In. General admission is free, if you show you car the registration fee is $10 The proceeds go to Wounded Veterans of War and Families. They will have live entertainment including the Ft Rucker Band and country singer Shane Owens. The location is the grassy, wooded front yard of Gerald Vinson's place on highway 52, about 2 miles west of the Ross Clark Circle. Gerald owns Auto Investors, a classic car business. He always has a dozen or so fully restored classic cars in his warehouse, so there will be lots of really cool cars to see, plus a charity auction, food vendors, and games for the kids. Starts at 10:00. Many in the club are planning to attend. |

Landmark Park Car Show - Featured car this year - Corvette !! The pre-registration fee to enter a vehicle is $12 per car until September 28. After that, the fee is $15 per car. Vendor booths must be reserved prior to the show. Vehicles can be registered the day of the show from 8-11:30 a.m. To receive a registration form, call the park office at 794-3452 or visit the park’s web site at www.landmarkpark.com. |

13-16 Oct -- The Emerald Coast Corvette Club will be cruising to the
National Corvette Museum in Bowling Green, and doing a cruise down the Tail
of the Dragon (NC route 129).

The Playground Corvette Club will be putting on their annual 3rd annual
Vettes At The Village Corvette show. This is held in Baytowne Warf Village
in the Sandestin resort in Destin FL. Plan to attend this as it is always
an enjoyable event.
